Principal: Dr Josh Lida MRCVS
Josh qualified from Edinburgh University Veterinary School in 1981. He remained there for a year as a Medicine Houseman before undertaking a PhD in Immunology at Cambridge University. He became a Lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College in London before setting up Lida Vets in Newmarket with his wife Liz.
Veterinary Clinician: Eleonor Spitzer MRCVS
Eléonore is our new French-Canadian vet, Having studied in Edinburgh and Montreal. She is fully fluent in English, French as well as Russian. She has an interest in internal medicine and imaging. She is studying towards a higher certificate in Soft Tissues Surgery.
She also practises veterinary acupuncture and in addition to her veterinary qualifications, she holds a degree in honeybee medicine and a Masters in conservation biology.
Veterinary Clinician: Ilan Lay MRCVS
Ilan qualified from Budapest Veterinary School in 2005. He spent five years in general practice before joining us at Lida Vets in 2009. He is especially experienced and interested in soft tissue surgery.
Illan lives with his family and one cat, he enjoys spending time with his children.
Veterinary Clinician: Mabel Ang MRCVS
Mabel graduated at Cambridge in 2014 and joined Lida vets in 2015 after working in verterinary research and small animal practice. She has a particular interest in diagnostic imaging and internal medicine. Mabel is in her first year of studying towards a higher certificate in medicine.
