Principal: Dr Josh Lida MRCVS
Josh qualified from Edinburgh University Veterinary School in 1981. He remained there for a year as a Medicine Houseman before undertaking a PhD in Immunology at Cambridge University. He became a Lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College in London before setting up Lida Vets in Newmarket with his wife Liz.
Veterinary Clinician: Nat Allen MRCVS
After qualifying from Cambridge University in 2000, Nat gained experience in small animal practice before joining Lida Vets over 11 years ago. Nat is an accomplished sportswoman excelling in Hockey and Polo.
Veterinary Clinician: Hannah Brinsmead MRCVS
Hannah qualified from Cambridge University in 2011 and joined Lida Vets soon afterwards. She has a special interest in internal medicine and started a 3 year medicine course in January 2015. Hannah has a dog, 2 cats and 2 tortoises and enjoys playing tennis, badminton, and baking cakes
Veterinary Clinician: Ilan Lay MRCVS
Ilan qualified from Budapest Veterinary School in 2005. He spent five years in general practice before joining us at Lida Vets in 2009. He is especially experienced and interested in soft tissue surgery.
Illan lives with his family and one cat, he enjoys spending time with his children.
Veterinary Clinician: Mabel Ang MRCVS
Mabel graduated at Cambridge in 2014 and joined Lida vets in 2015 after working in verterinary research and small animal practice. She has a particular interest in diagnostic imaging and internal medicine. Mabel is in her first year of studying towards a higher certificate in medicine.
Veterinary Clinician: Shanti Esmeiu MRCVS
Shanti graduated in 2015 from Liege University and is the newest
addition to our veterinary team at Lida Vets. She has a particular
interest in imaging and surgery.
