Practice Manager

My nursing journey started in 1991; working in a mixed practice in rural Essex. After qualifying I moved to Newmarket, working with horses. After travelling around the world, I worked as a locum before working at the Animal Health Trust as an Oncology Nurse. After the birth of my 3 children I went back into general practice; working in various roles including a HVES nurse at Cromwells and an Oncology Specialist Nurse at Cambridge Vet school in 2008. I joined Lida Vets in January 2023 as Practice Manager.

I volunteer for 2 charities and gained my Nurse certificate in Animal Behaviour last year. I am also undergoing my level 5 diploma in canine behaviour. 

In my spare time I compete in dingy racing with my Laser 2000 (when the weather is warmer). I have 3 dogs and I am also a keen runner & swimmer, having completed the London Marathon in 2022.
